brush+needle is a collaboration between two friends--one specializing in fine art, the other in handmade goods. Combining their different styles they come together to create unique works of art mainly from recycled, reused and sustainable materials.

Our products include artwork, jewelry, knit work, needlework, and so much more. We try to include used or recylced materials that we find locally to insure our art is sustainable and unique. Currently, we are traveling to markets and art shows around the midwest. You can also find our products here on this website or on our Etsy account.

We are two friends who have been in each other's lives since childhood and have always shared a love of art. Recently graduating from college, we decided to transform our passion into a business. Amanda Gray specializes in fine art and creates artwork using acrylic paint, watercolor, and mixed media. She also makes necklaces, earrings, and bracelets. Suzanne Goebel specializes in crafting handmade goods. She enjoys knitting, embroidering, candlework, and makes stationary to send to her friends.
